DESCRIPTION:Brothers in Dialogue\nBrothers in Dialogue is a quarterly virtual series that provides a safe\, affirming\, and inclusive space for men and boys—from high school students to elders—to engage in open\, respectful\, and meaningful conversation. The program centers honest dialogue around the social\, cultural\, emotional\, and personal issues that shape participants’ lives\, identities\, and communities. \nThrough guided discussions and intergenerational exchange\, Brothers in Dialogue fosters connection\, mutual understanding\, and shared learning. Participants are encouraged to listen actively\, reflect thoughtfully\, and express themselves in ways that promote emotional wellness\, leadership development\, and positive community engagement. The series strengthens bonds across generations while creating opportunities for personal growth\, healing\, and collective problem-solving. \n\nProgram Outcomes\nParticipants in Brothers in Dialogue will: \n\n\nDevelop stronger communication and active listening skills \n\n\nBuild confidence in expressing thoughts\, experiences\, and emotions \n\n\nStrengthen intergenerational relationships and mentorship connections \n\n\nIncrease awareness of social\, cultural\, and community issues \n\n\nFoster emotional well-being\, accountability\, and leadership growth

DESCRIPTION:Join The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center for the 2nd Annual Center Literacy Nook: Juneteenth Celebration of Literature\, Culture & Community on Saturday\, June 20th from 3PM–6PM. \nThis inspiring afternoon will celebrate diverse literary voices through author conversations\, book signings\, community connection\, and cultural celebration. The event will feature Tiffany D. Cross\, journalist\, TV host\, and author of Love\, Me: A Letter to Black Women in a Toxic Country\, Career\, and Relationship. \nGuests are invited to come together in honor of Juneteenth and the power of storytelling\, literacy\, and representation. The Center is also welcoming established and emerging authors\, independent and self-published writers\, vendors\, literacy partners\, and creative businesses to participate. \nAuthor & vendor tables are $25.
