The Reading Revival: It's a Movement
Empowering All Readers Strengthening Literacy Skills Encouraging a Love of Reading
About Reading Revival
The Reading Revival: It’s a Movement, is a year-long initiative focused on building literacy through everyday moments at The Center. Across our after-school classrooms, youth leadership initiatives like D.R.E.A.M. Teens, and literacy-focused community events, reading becomes a tool for confidence, curiosity, critical thinking, and connection.
This effort brings students, families, staff, and the community together to share stories, strengthen skills, and celebrate learning in meaningful ways.
Women’s History Month: Community Reading List
In celebration of Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting a curated reading list that honors the achievements, voices, and stories of women across generations. From biography and memoir to fiction and cultural commentary, these titles recognize the impact women have made — and continue to make — in shaping our world.
We invite our community to explore, learn, and be inspired by powerful stories that reflect resilience, leadership, creativity, and change.
