Literacy Nook Juneteenth 2026

The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center’s 2nd Annual Center Literacy Nook: Juneteenth Celebration of Literature, Culture & Community has been postponed.

Due to unforeseen traffic conditions and travel challenges associated with the U.S. Open activities in the Shinnecock Hills area, this weekend’s Literacy Nook event at The Center will be rescheduled. A new date will be announced soon.

This event will celebrate diverse literary voices through author conversations, book signings, community connection, and cultural celebration. The program will feature Tiffany D. Cross, journalist, TV host, and author of Love, Me: A Letter to Black Women in a Toxic Country, Career, and Relationship.

Guests, authors, vendors, literacy partners, and creative businesses are encouraged to stay tuned for updates. Registration details for General Admission/Donation and Author & Vendor Tables will be updated once the new date is confirmed.
