Workforce Training

Teach Me How to Fish is our High Skills Workforce Training Strategy that is designed to help put our community members (ages 18-45) on a path to financial security. Through the accumulation of specialized skills that will help open doors of opportunity leading to a career path and upward economic mobility, participants will not only help themselves but also help to close the Wealth Equity Gap in our community. This is not just a program; it is a strategy. We know we have the talent in our community; what we need is the opportunity.
The Center is always looking for partners who are willing to work alongside us by looking at the resumes of recent high school, college, and tech/trade school graduates, providing guidance and advice, or linking the with potential internship opportunities and employers.
